Year 4/5/6 Smile Challenge
A number of our children in Year 4, 5 and 6 have been working as part of our wellbeing group in school. For one of their tasks, they were challenged with how they could spend £10 to make people in our community smile. After lots of ideas the children decided to paint kindness stones and leave them dotted around our community. They enjoyed painting patterns and words of encouragement onto their pebbles and going into the local parks to hide their pebbles and to try and make people smile. If you spot any of their kindness pebbles then send us a photo on Twitter and remember to tag @christchurchcoe.
Choir singing in the community

School Council attend Inspire event at Liverpool Parish.
As part of the Brittle Heart 100 year commemoration of the end of World War One, as well as women’s right to vote, our school council members took part in the Inspire event at Liverpool Parish. Over various workshops, together they wrote a peace pledge and shared this with the rest of our school as well as other schools at the event. They were excellent ambassadors of our Christian ethos at Christ Church and we are so proud of how they represented our school.
