This term year 3 have been introduced to their class value ‘Trust’. They have thought about what trust means to them and who they can trust in the world. Together they went on to write their own trust poem.
As a school we were delighted to welcome Imran Kotwal from Muslim Learner Services to talk to the children about Islam. During a fascinating assembly, he talked about the 5 Pillars of Islam and showed a range of Islamic artefacts. He also led workshops in KS2, teaching the children about Muslim traditions and life as a British Muslim. The children really enjoyed his input and learnt a lot about Islam. Thank you to Imran for his visit and to the children for being so respectful.
