Spring Term

During this term, we will be exploring the books Unplugged to remind ourselves of our key skills when writing simple sentences. We will be focussing on using the correct punctuation such as capital letters, full stops and finger spaces within our sentences. We will also be using this story to talk about our experiences during the previous lockdowns.

Alongside our geography topic, Can a meerkat live in the North Pole?, we will be exploring the story Meerkat mail. We will be exploring different adjectives that we can use to describe the characters and places as well as focussing on our sentence structure.

Autumn Term

During the Autumn term we will be looking at a variety of Traditional Tales such as Little Red Riding Hood and The Three Little Pigs. We also look at Seasonal Poetry, The Jolly Christmas Postman and the Nativity. We can't wait to get stuck into our books!
