We would be most grateful if you would remember the following points:
Start of the day Doors open 08.55
Registration 08.55
Lessons begin 09.00
End of day 15.30
P.E The children will have P.E. on Thursday and Friday but P.E. kit should be kept in school for the week; brought in on Monday and taken home at half term for washing. PE kit is yellow t-shirt, black shorts and black pumps. A tracksuit can be worn over this in the winter if it is. A drawstring bag is ideal to keep their kit in as it does not take up much room on the children’s hangers.
Swimming sessions will start at the beginning of the Summer term!
Lunch Box When buying a new lunch box please make sure it is clearly named. The children should also be encouraged to bring their wrappers and packets back home for recycling.
Dinner Money Please bring the correct dinner money on Mondays. The cost is £8.00 per week.
Bags Please avoid bringing large bags, as we cannot accommodate them. P.E. kit should be in as small a bag as possible with all items especially pumps and trainers clearly labelled.
Clothes Any item of clothing, which might be taken off during the day must be clearly and permanently labelled with your child’s name. Coats also need to be named as we have many the same!
Jewellery Watches are allowed to be worn. If ears are pierced then sleepers or studs should be worn only while it is necessary. No other jewellery should be worn.
Water Bottles Children are encouraged to bring water bottles, especially when it is warmer weather. Please ensure that the bottle has a sports cap, only contains water and is clearly labelled with your child’s name.
Book Bags All children should be encouraged to bring in a book bag daily with their current reading book, reading record book and any homework that may have been given out. Please ensure that it is also clearly labelled with your child’s name.
