The whole school enjoyed the 'Harry Potter' theme on World Book Day this year.
Year 5 met the owls, made magic wands, designed their own broomsticks and concocted their own enchanting potions.
Year 5 had the privilege of visiting Y Kids to see the amazing work that is done by this charity group for the community and most important, our young people. As part of our Young Leaders Award scheme, the children are learning about how they 'can be the change you want to see'. There are many after school clubs offered for free by Ykids so be quick when signing up via the website! https://www.ykids.co.uk/
The children enjoyed a variety of tasks including making their own bird feeder, looking for hazards in a garden, naming vegetables (there were 20!), making cheesecakes bites, fastest person activities and human, life-size hungry hippos! We had so much fun! Thank you to Ykids and the children for fantastic behaviour displayed.
