On Tuesday 19th November, we were visited by 'Scream Street' author, Tommy Dombavand. He was thoroughly entertaining while telling us all about himself, how he is inspired to write and all about his books. Tommy even made up a short story during his visit, with help from some volunteers! Finally, he left us some golden tickets, which the children could exchange for a free book at the 'Little Shop of Books' and a free cake! Many of the children went that evening and got their books signed by Tommy. They have enjoyed reading them and I think his books will be on a few Christmas lists this year.
Welcome to Year 4.
Autumn 2013: This term we are learning all about World War 2.
Here are some of the books we have been reading.
