Welcome to Year 1.

Autumn 2013 Year 1 Curriculum Overview

This half-term we have been enjoying exploring  the outdoors through Forest Schools.

We have been planting Wild Flower seeds, making binoculars and playing lots of fun games. This helps us to understand our local area and how we need to look after it. It also helps us to develop our team work and speaking and listening skills.

On Thursday March 6th we celebrated World Book Day.

We all brought in our favourite book, our fluffy slippers and a soft, cosy pillow! We spent the day exploring our favourite books and listening to a wide range of lovely stories!
